🕊 In Loving Memory of My Beloved Father 🤍

October 30, 2021 — the darkest day of my life. I was asleep in Canada when I received the heartbreaking message that my great father had passed away. That moment still echoes in my mind and will remain a lifetime regret, as I couldn’t be there to attend his funeral.

My father was a man of kindness, humility, and unwavering principles — a true gentleman whose absence can never be filled. We try to find solace by walking in his footsteps and continuing the good deeds he inspired in us.

I humbly request you all to remember my dear father in your prayers and recite Surah Al-Fatiha (once) and Surah Al-Ikhlas (three times) for the elevation of his soul.

May Allah bless his soul, grant him the highest place in Jannah, and give us the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen. 🤲

It’s disappointing to see that the PCB is paying only Rs. 25,000 per match to players in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy — Pakistan’s top first-class tournament.

These are the players who form the backbone of our cricket system — they train year-round, represent their regions with pride, and keep the domestic structure alive. Yet, the compensation they receive doesn’t reflect their dedication or the importance of first-class cricket.

It’s time for PCB to invest in players, not in cosmetic reforms or overpaid “mentors.” Strengthening domestic cricket starts with respecting and rewarding those who play it.
