CBBB Cardboard Boat Races 2021

Special congratulations to our kids team who built their own boats and had a successful float test! Way to go everyone 😊

Congratulations to the "tractor" boat which floated the longest and placed 3rd in the race. It needed a little extra man power to get its immensive weight across the finish line (thanks shiny team for the push)

Congratulations to "the shiny" boat, the smallest boat in the fleet and our first boat to sink to bottom but looked good doing it.

Congratulations to the Banana boat team for best team spirit and creativity! Who knew bananas could float!

Congratulations to the "boat" team for best looking boat. Although it ended the day as the best yellow submarine 😊

Although your boat was 99% sunk you powered through those waves to finish the race first!

Thanks to everyone who came out today. The builds were awesome and the race was a blast. Hope to see you all next year with an even larger crowd.

Today is the day.

The cardboard is ready, now all we need is you!
Come out to the Constance Bay Point Beach (next to The Point Resturant) and build a cardboard boat.
Builds will start around 11am and we will provide cardboard and limited amount of packing tape.

Teams will have a max of 4 hours to complete their builds before we take to the water and see who can float the longest.

Only 4 days until Constance Bays first Cardboard boat races!

For anyone wanting to participate or just come out and watch. Come join us at The Point beach entrance. We will have spare cardboard for teams that want to jump in and start a build. The Point Resturant will also have live music playing and cold drinks at the ready 😊

Building will start at 11am
Boat races will start around 3pm where we will crown our first bay winner!

1 week until build and race day!
