Weybridge Park Outdoor Rink

Just wanted to say that tonight is probably the last night of skating. Opened Dec 12th skated in 4 months and had over 70 skating days this yr a truly remarkable season. Special shoutout to Aaron Bown who did a ton around the rink and always made sure the shack was in peak shape this season. Jon, Mike, Bill and daytime Rick also did lots of shovelling, snow blowing and flooding. Lots of residents chipped in as well including many teenagers. Thank you for all compliments we love being part of this great community. See you all next winter!!!

Shack is open and can skate today but ice is bumby and not in great shape. Will flood tonight and hopefully will be better tomorrow

Rink was very busy all week must have been 75 ppl between 5-9 last night. Rink is closed for today and most likely the weekend. We will flood tomorrow when temperatures drop and hopefully keep the rink open for another week maybe. Schools should be able to skate Monday and Tuesday.

If you were at rink today between 3-5pm you might have unfortunately went home with boots to big for you in size 7 and left size 4 in shack which I have. Please contact me at 613-513-9299 or on messebger as another boy doesn’t have winter boots and had to go home boot less. I have other pair.

The crew was out early this morning clearing both rinks for a weekend of skating/hockey. Thanks to Bill Bennett who lead the charge this morning. This is Bill 13th season helping out!!

On another note I have seen the same lone coyote twice this week. Once late at night flooding and again this morning. Please remember this is a Weybridge ODR page but wanted to let residents close to rink with small pets know.

Both rinks cleared!! Thanks to Aaron Bown for leading the charge today with multiple snowblowers. It’s cold but shack is open and ice is good.

Last night was a great night at ODR we had a U9 NMHA team on ice followed up by U13B enforcers (pictured below) after those groups a shinny game was played till 9:30. Then the crew scraped and flooded both rinks. Tonight and tomorrow conditions look great and nobody has rink reserved so come out and enjoy the fresh air.

We have lots of rentals this week as many have rescheduled due to cold weather. Please use the puddle rink during that time.

Perfect day for skating. Both rinks in excellent shape. Forecast loooks good for schools to use the rink all week.

Both rinks in excellent shape and temps look good for next week so make sure and get out on either rink this week. Today lots of Mary Honeywell kids will be using the rink.

Both Rinks will re-open at 3pm today. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. We will close at 9 tonight for a flood. Shack will be open from 10am-8pm both Saturday and Sunday.
Rink should be good all next week for school skating as well.
