Straight up. It’s one of those inconvenient truths that people ignore when it’s convenient for a narrative. For one thing It’s incorrect and two, it’s emotion based.
When you see a bunch of innocent people being killed it tends to invoke emotions and come to certain conclusions that aren’t always based in reality. Nobody is denying it’s awful what’s happening on the ground. It’s a massacre but it’s not genocide.
