Banner day for Will Batley at the uOttawa invitational . In his season opener, the 16 year old ran 6.99 seconds in the 60m preliminaries to crush his previous personal best of 7.18 seconds from 2023. He then ran a jaw dropping 33.97 seconds 👀 in the Men’s 300m to shatter the facility u18 record of 34.57 previously held by Micheal Robertson . The mark also surpasses the club u18 300m record previously held by Shermar Paul .

Next up for Will Batley is the NACAC u18 Championships in Costa Rica on July 21-23. Batley was the 2023 OFSAA 100m and 200m Junior Boy Champion. 📷:Athletica_portraits

Big Congrats to Joshua Foster on becoming the 2023 Athletics Ontario Men’s Long Jump Champion. Foster heads to the Canadian National Championship on July 25-27 in Langley, British Columbia

Huge congrats to GoldenStar Will Batley! Batley, who was the Junior Boys 100m and 200m champion at the 2023 OFSAA Championships, was named to Canada’s NACAC U18 Team by Athletics Canada. The NACAC Championships will be held in Costa Rica from July 21-23

Lionel Muteba had himself two club records in his indoor season opener to garner two wins in Ottawa. He produced a 6.77 sec performance over 60m and 33.67 over 300m.

4 x 100 relay

GoldenStars Alex Collins and Eliezer Adjibi joined their Team Ontario teammates(Immanuel Onyemah and Michael Roth) to garner gold in the Mens 4 x 100. What a Friday!!!

Thomas Becker ended his impressive season by adding a Canada Games Silver Medal to his collection. Becker cleared 2.12m, the same height as the Gold medalist who had less misses in the competition. Earlier this season Becker won the Canadian Junior Champion along with the Ontario Junior Provincial Title.
