Stephanie Bourassa of Laval, QC, and Guss de Kergane rose to the challenge in Saturday’s $25,000 Ogilvy Equestrian Grand Prix, delivering the only double-clear performance of the afternoon to secure victory at Wesley Clover Parks. 🏆

The jump-off featured two Quebec riders, both returning off Grand Prix wins during last year’s Ottawa Welcome series. Maria Yzerman and JOJO JK SR laid down a fast jump-off round, but Bourassa answered the challenge with the only fault-free effort to secure the win.

Fierce competitors in the ring but friends beyond it, the pair shared a celebratory moment following the class in front of an enthusiastic Saturday afternoon crowd.

In the hunter ring, Kristjan Good and In The Groove topped the opening Canadian Hunter Derby of the series with a standout score of 101.

Stephanie Bourassa de Laval, QC, et Guss de Kergane ont relevé le défi lors du Grand Prix Ogilvy Equestrian à 25 000 $ de samedi à l’Ottawa Welcome 2, réalisant le seul double sans-faute de l’après-midi pour décrocher la victoire à Wesley Clover Parks. 🏆

Le barrage mettait en vedette deux cavalières québécoises, toutes deux de retour après des victoires en Grand Prix lors de la série Ottawa Welcome de l’an dernier. Maria Yzerman et JOJO JK SR ont réalisé un barrage rapide, mais Bourassa a répondu au défi avec le seul parcours sans faute pour s’assurer de la victoire.

Féroces compétitrices en piste, mais amies à l’extérieur du ring, les deux cavalières ont partagé un beau moment de célébration après l’épreuve devant une foule enthousiaste samedi après-midi.

Dans le ring des chasseurs, Kristjan Good et In The Groove ont dominé la première épreuve Canadian Hunter Derby de la série avec un impressionnant pointage de 101.
