WOW! September had to have been our record number of games for that month. 56 games timed!! 😱😱😱😱

With that we were able to send $28 CAD to our new Charity of the Season, , as well as another $28-ish CAD to Ukraine! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Did you know we do summer hockey? NEITHER DID WE 😱😱😱😱 (someone asked, and we timed their games basically)


We’re continuing last season’s tradition of giving 50 cents to Ukraine via cryptocurrency (DOT this time because BTC gas fees were brought back in by ).

Ice Hockey Timekeeper: Ongoing
Objectives

Objectives of the Ice Hockey Timekeeper is to keep accurate time and stats of tournament hockey games.

Roles and Responsibilities

-Able to travel to various arenas in the Greater Ottawa Area to maintain accurate game time and recording points and penalties
-Constant awareness of game status
-Other tasks upon request

Required Attributes

-Passion and In-depth knowledge of the game of hockey is a requirement
-Working knowledge of Google Drive
-Level C First Aid & CPR is a requirement
-Good feel for industry culture
-Demonstrate tact in responding to client feedback
-Strong team player with ability to work independently
-Willingness to learn
-Reliable transportation is a requirement
-Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
-Mastery of English is a requirement; French will be considered an asset
-A police record check may be required for minor hockey games

So this has been a completely sh*te month. First, we had one of our timekeepers ASSAULTED by some 🤡 “protester” (more like domestic terrorist) on her way to do a game, and now we got another 🤡 invading a country because he’s a 🤡.



All that said, we’ll be donating the game fee from that night to , an -based coalition to end violence against women.



Our usual has also changed (sorry, ) to provide humanitarian relief to via , as well as to the government via bitcoin. Details of those are in the photos above.
