This young lady is going places! 12 year old Julia Mang is not only an amazing up-and-coming BMX racer, is is also extremely successful on the modelling circuit! At such a young ageing age, she has already received 32 modelling callbacks from agencies in Milan, Paris, NYC, Budapest, Tokyo, and Madrid! She will be rocking the #18 District Plate this year. Watch out boys-she is coming for you!

Meet the Team!

One of Caeleigh's BFFs was the second lady to join our little Ontario division. These two ladies are attached at the hip when they are at the track.

Zoe, a bubbling bundle of energy who calls Nepean BMX her home track. She has started to show some amazing growth on and off the track. When she is not racing in the summer you can see her on the ice playing Ringette. She plays for the Nepean Ringette Ravens who just had a fantastic season winning the Kingston Ringette Championship! (Go Zoe!)

10-year-old Caeleigh calls Kingston BMX track home and has been racing since she was 11 months old on a strider! She joined Team Skewed because she wanted to encourage more girls her age to race and wanted to join a team where she could wear cool girl colors and patterns (Skewed fits the bill there!) ⁣

When Caeleigh isn't at the track, you can find her speed skating, singing and dancing, and making jewelry.

Caeleigh starts the season off at District #12 in class and District #5 and Provincial #1 in Cruiser. Her goals this year are to get some wins in intermediate, try the Gold Cup series as well as compete in a couple of Quebec races.

How it all started. 10-year-old Caeleigh Antoine was looking for something different on the track. She enjoyed the team she was on, but something was missing. She wanted to wear pink and be "girlie". I did some research and found Cindi! She had the kits Caeleigh wanted. Bright, colourful - and definitely girlie!. After many orders, Cindi asked if Caeleigh wanted to be on her new SkewedBMX team. We had just left a team and weren't really looking at joining another quite yet. But Cindi's message resonated with us. It was exactly what Caeleigh wanted. To be proud of being a girl, to encourage other girls in the sport, and to be able to be unique while supporting a brand. We were sold! It turned out to be the best decision for Caeleigh. She had her best season yet - got her 10 wins in Novice, gained noticeable confidence, and had a fantastic season. Other Ontario families noticed the change in Caeleigh's confidence and her fantastic kits and Skewed Racing Ontario was born!

Congrats to our Fearless Leader for her success at Grands! She came away with a NAG 14! Some of our other American Teammates came away with some impressive results as well!

To our team members-don’t forget to make sure your BMX Canada dues/fees/signatures are up to date so that you don’t loose your district numbers!

I will put in plate orders for anyone who is interested in the New Year so they are ready for you for the first race! (Side plates are also available!-talk to Cindi if you might wants a specific colour other than what you see on her website page). They come in Pro (best for expert Size and up) and Mini sizes (best for mini/junior sized bikes). Side plates are also available for anyone who wants to compete at Nationals. They were also required for Provincial finals this year as well!
