Ottawa O-Fest

A week ago we posted about our great volunteers at a meeting in Ottawa. Now we have some locals in Perth getting involved as well. How cool is that? We're planning to run some local programs there in the lead up as well!

Remember this? We (Orienteering Ottawa) are hosting a training weekend on the NAOC2014 middle and long map on the Carp Ridge June 2-4. It'll be a great opportunity to train for the Canadian Champs which are in very similar terrain so save the dates and we'll post more when we know more!

Just noticed that we haven't posted anything to this page since September 2015. That's well over 3 times as long as between now and the next O-Fest July 29 to August 7: O-Fest 150. The 10 day O-Fest 150 includes the Eastern Canadian Championships in Montreal, Ottawa O-Fest in Ottawa and the Canadian Championships in Perth and we're going to be posting here regularly with updates as we prepare.

Day one of Ottawa O-Fest 2015! over 150 orienteers entered the woods and over 150 orienteers returned - some battered, some bruised - but all ready for the chase tomorrow at 10am! Their results are available online at www.ottawaofest.ca

Last day to register for 2015 Ottawa O-Fest and the Orienteering Ontario Championships!

Ottawa O-Fest is pleased to announce that we will be the Ontario Championships this year! Registration fees goes up after September 11, so get to Zone4 and register now!

Ottawa O-Fest 2015 is on September 26 and 27. Format is once again a Middle on Saturday with a Chase Start Long on Sunday.

NAOC 2016 Save the dates! The 2016 North American Orienteering Championships will be held September 23-25, 2016, at and near Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
