Her formal presentation, including her identity and introduction to the community, will be unveiled in the coming weeks as part of our cultural programming leading up to the V Concurso Selectivo Mundial de Marinera 2026, taking place on September 26 & 27, 2026.
This milestone reflects our continued commitment to artistic excellence, leadership development, and the preservation of the marinera as a living expression of intangible cultural heritage. Through initiatives such as this, we foster intergenerational participation, cultural pride, and meaningful community engagement within Canadaโs diverse cultural landscape.
