Our 2025 Capital Heat IGP Trial has come to a close after two incredible days filled with hard work, sportsmanship, and success. 💪🏽🏆

A huge thank you to all the handlers and spectators who came out to support and share in the event. Congratulations to everyone who stepped onto the field, and extra cheers to those who achieved titles, you’ve earned it! 👏🏽

We are especially grateful to USCA Judge Arthur Collins for traveling out to officiate. Your positivity, sharp critiques, “sharp pencil 😉”, and great sense of humor made the weekend both educational and enjoyable for all.

Big thanks also go to our track layers, club helper, and every single Rogue Working Dog Alliance member who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. From beginning to end, your hard work ensured this trial came together without a hitch. 🙌🏽

As we close out, we do so with full hearts, proud of what was accomplished and excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to the continued growth of our sport, our dogs, and our community. Until next time, see you all on the trial field!

Rogue WDA Capital Heat IGP Trial 2025 – Day 1 Recap

Day one is officially in the books, and what a successful start it was! Congratulations to all who earned titles today, and just as importantly, to every single handler who had the courage to step onto the trial field with their canine partners. It takes blood, sweat, tears, and heart to put yourself out there; regardless of the outcome, hats off to you all. 👏🏽

A huge thank you to the spectators and local training clubs who came out to support, especially our friends from Frostbite Working Dog Club and York Region Schutzhund Club. The energy and camaraderie were unmatched, good times all around! 💪🏽

☕ Special shoutout to John Bonello for setting up the espresso/coffee station. The caffeine boost kept spirits high and was so appreciated! Thank you for adding that extra touch to the day!

And of course, none of this would be possible without the tireless effort of our club members. From organizing, planning, and keeping things on track, to making sure breakfast, lunch, and the day itself ran smoothly… you all made it happen. 🙌🏽

Best of luck tomorrow morning to the FH handlers on their track, we’re all rooting for you! 🍀

We’re excited to welcome Arthur Collins as our judge for the upcoming Summer Heat Trial!

Arthur is a USCA Performance Judge, Teaching Helper, SE Regional Director, and National Competitor with experience as a Helper at USCA National Championship events. He’s also the Training Director of a USCA Club and is actively training in the sport himself.

We’re honoured to have someone with his expertise on the field. Get ready for a great trial! 💪🐾🇨🇦🇺🇸

That’s a wrap on the 2025 GSSCC Ontario Regional Championship! 🇨🇦💪

What an incredible five days and a fantastic showing from the Rogue team all around!

🔥 Three of our members competed in the championship, and Gobei was selected as the helper for IGP 1s & 2s, and reserve helper for IGP 3s (both front and back half). Huge recognition for his skill and dedication!

🏆 Congratulations to Shanon and Flash for an outstanding 2nd place finish! A: 100, B: 90, C: 98 & T: 288. This team also took home High Tracking, High Protection, and the Helper’s Choice Award, an amazing achievement! 🎉

👏 Well done to Leslie and Neva on successfully completing the championship, back-to-back appearances at Regionals for this dedicated team!

🐾 Amjad and Astro were entered in IGP 2, but unfortunately had to withdraw due to illness. Wishing the pup a speedy recovery, we know they’ll be back stronger!

Overall, a huge success and a proud moment for the Rogue team. Congratulations to all competitors, supporters, and volunteers who made this event such a memorable one!
