GREEN FLASHING LIGHTS
At a moment's notice, firefighters respond to the call for help. Whether they are at home, work or at play, these professionals respond to the Fire Station without delay in order that they may aid and protect their fellow citizens.
The Ministry of Transportation has authorized the use of flashing green lights by firefighters. The green flashing light identifies that the person is a Volunteer Firefighter who is responding to the station for a fire incident.
When you see a flashing green light, please yield the right of way and let the Firefighter safely pass. Their expedient response is crucial. Remember, the home we're rushing to save, or life we're going to rescue, could be yours, or a close friends.
