Another amazing trip to Egmont completed. Had the most incredible dive ever. A 15 min encounter with a giant pacific Octopus. It swam up and grabbed onto me and we had a little dance. 🐙

We are very excited and honored to once again be working with the incredible men and women of the RCAF Snowbirds. Oceantec Scuba will be providing rescue support on Okanagan Lake as these amazing pilots put on a show for Peachfest over Penticton this Wednesday.

ICE DIVE 2025
Now that we are finally getting some cold temperatures, the ice is beginning to get thick enough for an Ice diving course. I want to check if there is enough interest to put on a course. Let me know in the comments if you would be interested in taking the Ice diver certification in mid February.

Thank you to all the volunteer divers who put in a long day of garbage pick up. That's a bunch less trash in our waters. Thanks to JCI Penticton for putting the whole thing together.

JCI is hosting an Penticton Channel Cleanup on Sunday, Sept 29th. 9am-2pm. Volunteers will be cleaning the shoreline, while Volunteer divers will clean underwater.
