Good luck to Molly!!

She leaving tomorrow for Victoria, BC to compete at the 2025 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials.

She is swimming 50m Fly and competes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

NORAC has a new head coach - Steven Taylor! Steven comes to NORAC with 2 decades of swimming and coaching experience. As a former national age group swimmer from the Durham region, Steven returned to the sport as a varsity swimmer at Brock University, while completing his B.Sc. in Medical Sciences. Most recently, Steven served as the Junior Development coach with Whitby Swimming, having previously coached swimmers from pre-competitive through to varsity and Masters levels. Steven’s coaching approach focuses on fostering swimmers’ enjoyment in the pool, through a positive team culture, supporting their personal goals, and developing their technical foundations. He is a fully certified NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) Swimming Level 1 Coach, and currently working towards his Level 2.We are thrilled to welcome Steven to the NORAC community!

What a way to end the season. Adam set a new club record for 50 fly in the open category! Well done!

What a great season, lots of meets, pb’s and great memories. Our last meet this weekend was OSC’s and Molly did very well with 2/3 pb’s, well done! Have a great summer everyone!

And that’s a wrap for 2024 LC OYJ’s and these 2 brought their A games tonight to finals. New PB for Molly in 200 IM and a new PB for Adrian in 200 back! Great representation for NORAC!
