In 2022, I am choosing to prioritize - balance -
It’s great to be busy but it’s also great to have a week to slow down. I will use this time to recharge.
Self-care does not need to be justified. It’s not an if/then negotiation.
Not every single waking moment needs to be spent moving forward. I will be ok to stand still and just be.

2021 was a big year for your friendly neighborhood chiropractor! With that being said, I’ve also spent most of this year wondering if it was 2020 or 2021…
The biggest change was leaving the practice I’ve worked at since the very beginning and starting over in Vancouver. Leaving is always scary. Starting new things can be scary. However, this experience helped me become more resilient. It helped me remind me that growth and adventure begins at the very edge of my comfort zone and at this stage in my career, this will change who I am for many years to come.
So here we are, counting down the last moments of this whirlwind year and I am so immensely hopeful. While we don’t know what the next year allows and we are very much in an uncertain time, I look forward to learning more ways to better provide encouragement, promote health, and support my community as your friendly neighborhood chiropractor!

And just like that…time flies! July 31st will be my last day at Peakform Wellness and starting August 4th, you can find me at Jointworks Chiropractic () on Main St in Vancouver on Mondays and Wednesdays.
After nearly 2.5 years at Peakform, my time to move on has come. The past few weeks have been difficult - letting patients know that I will be leaving not knowing if this might be the last time we see each other. I reflect on how lucky am I to have been able to work with such amazing patients who make it so difficult to leave.
Do you have any favourite spots on Main? Looking for some great lunch and coffee spots in Mount Pleasant!

Today, I celebrate the immense privilege of being a female chiropractor. I celebrate those who have allowed me to be part of their healing journey and thank them for the opportunity to share a few steps with them. I celebrate those around me who have made great strides in advancing the profession for women and I am so so so proud to be a chiropractor!

This year, I want to remind everyone that , there is a living breathing human being that may or may not be having a hard time right now. This current public health crisis has brought to the surface many things including the importance of physical interactions and human connection on our mental health and well-being.
1 in 5 Canadians will personally experience a mental health problem or illness each year. There is no “face” of mental illness. It crosses socioeconomic, education levels, gender, and age groups and does not discriminate and statistically, someone very close to you is experiencing challenges with their mental health.
when someone asks you how you’re doing. Your honesty could be what helps someone else come to terms with their own struggles. If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out and start the conversation!

🎉Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year!
I am incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve received during this year. This has been a year of immense personal growth for me despite the challenges.
Nobody really knows how to navigate a pandemic and I’ve been so fortunate to have an incredible network of patients and colleagues who have encouraged me and checked in to make sure I was hanging in there.
This year has been anything but easy and in while I feel nervous to begin another year, I know that we are more resilient and resourceful now than we were 365 days ago.
