Day 3 and Recap - SWU Regional Championship, Utrecht, NL

Day 3 was the second day of the Premier main event for the top 128 players. Antoine Demers (ORA_TonyDee) missed the cut due to his poor tiebreakers despite him having the right record (150ish place at 6-3).

Other than that, it was time for the Eternal Open, a 128 players tournament of 7-rounds of swiss without top cut. Players in the top 16 get qualification points for Worlds. And guess what? Karma was good for my hermanos TonyDee who managed to finish in 3rd place (6-1 with a 11-1 match record) of the Eternal Open, granting him enough points to qualify for the Galactic Championship!

We are proud of what the team has accomplish so far. We have 3 qualified players for the Galactic Championship in Bass, Justin and Antoine, with more than 6 months of competition still remaining.

Huge thanks to La Boutique Mythique (Mythic Force team) that helped with all the planning and invited us to stay with them during the event. Congrats to Michel Beaumont that made day 2 of the Premier main event and finished top 64, granting him a 3-peat to Worlds and to Charly that finished 11th in the Limited main event. This team is a strong example of performance and consistency here in Quebec and it was a pleasure to bootcamp with them during the weekend.

See you all in Boutique Awesome's PQ on November 28th!

ORA on top!

A first event for our team in this new season that ended with a blast! The one and only, the Ackbar legend himself, Justin Demers (ORA_JusDem) piloting Greef Red to a 5th place finish and 25 points in bank for the next Galactic Championship!

Huge thanks to Guardian Gaming VT for hosting such a wonderful event. By far the best PQ we ever attended! We'll be back for sure!

Next stop: Card Brawlers Planetary Qualifier, August 22th 2026.

https://www.facebook.com/share/1J2e8uQLj8/
