Next up on our judging panel, RDPs very own, Blake Jackson, and he’s bringing some experience to the table!

Following a career in broadcasting, Blake joined Red Deer Polytechnic’s External Relations team, where he currently serves as Corporate and Industry Relations Officer.

Blake is also no stranger to the spotlight or the judges’ table. Having previously served as a judge for Lip Sync Battle Red Deer, he knows a thing or two about great performances, big personalities and what it takes to entertain a crowd.

We’re excited to have Blake joining Michelle and Brandy on our panel for RDP’s Got Talent & Lip Sync Battle, Campus Edition!
Three judges revealed… but we might not be done 👀

✨Judge Alert ✨

Joining Michelle… Brandy Roberts, founder and co-chair of Lip Sync Battle Red Deer, this annual fundraiser has helped raise more than $600,000 for The Outreach Centre and she is the Gal behind it 💚

After years of living out her secret performance dreams through the brave souls she convinces to take the stage, Brandy is stepping out from behind the scenes, and into the judge’s seat.

She can’t wait to see the talent, creativity, and stage presence RDP has to offer!

Loving the look of the Judges panel… 😍

Next Up… Any guesses?

RDPs Got Talent and Lip Sync Battle, Campus Edition, is just around the corner…and what a way to kick off our judging panel! 🎤✨

First up, Michelle Laine Colby, a two-time RDP/RDC alumna! Michelle first came to RDC in 2009, completing her Music Diploma before returning a few years later to the Donald School of Business, where she earned her Business Diploma with a major in Human Resources.

When she’s not working, you can find Michelle performing across Central Alberta with her band Soul Balm, or taking the stage solo with her guitar and vocals at local breweries, cafés, and venues. 🎶🎸

Fun Fact ...Michelle was the Co-Emcee for the very first RDC Lip Sync Battle, Campus Edition in 2017.

And this is only the beginning of our panel 👀

Any guesses who else will be sitting next to her at the judges’ table?
