The Central Alberta Sox are excited to welcome Kyle Belich as our Catching Coach.
Born and raised in Red Deer County, Kyle developed through the RDMB program before attending the academy at St. Joseph High School. His path led him to play two years at Big Bend Community College in Washington, followed by a season at Emmanuel University in Georgia.
Kyle brings both high-level playing experience and a strong understanding of the position, and continues to compete locally with the Red Deer Riggers, a AAA men’s league team.
We’re excited to have Kyle working with our athletes and helping develop the next level of catchers in Central Alberta.

Congratulations to our Central Alberta Sox for their 5th Place round robin finish as well as their win in the Consolation Finals versus 4th place North Fraser Nationals at the Best of the West U18 Tournament in Kamloops BC.
Battling through a competitive field all weekend, the boys showed resilience, grit, and a commitment to getting better every game.
Big recognition to our key performers who stepped up in big moments—delivering at the plate, making plays in the field, and setting the tone with strong pitching performances.
Proud of the effort, proud of the growth. More work to be done. ⚾🔥
