Mens Cash Scramble

Congratulations to all the winners last weekend at the cash scramble. We had perfect weather at the beautiful Pine Hills Golf Club. Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers that continue to make this a successful event each year!

Ryker Flikinger made his annual donation yesterday to the Ronald McDonald House, funds raised at last year’s tournament. Great job bud! Today we kick off the 2022 tournament, good luck to all the golfers!

Its that time of year again... Registration is open for the 2022 Mens Cash Scramble. Payment must be made through Pine Hills Pro Shop. Must provide a legitimate handicap. 1st paid 30 teams accepted.

What a great weekend at Pine Hills for our annual tournament. We were able to raise a lot of money for some great charities and young aspiring golfers. Perfect weather, great golf and gave away a lot of cash and prizes! Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers without you this wouldn’t be possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.

The tournament date has been officially changed to Aug 13/14. I anticipate the tournament to fill up very fast so please get your entry back to me and payment through Pine Hills Pro Shop ASAP (403)845-7400 . You need to pay the full amount $1,000 through Pine Hills Pro Shop, no individual payments accepted. First 30 paid teams accepted. We are switching the format on Friday and Saturday this year. This should allow more movement in the leader board on Saturday. Also note the lowered Handicap requirements. Minimum handicap 35/team. Max 2 single digit handicaps/team and only 1 allowed under 5. If anyone is interested in donating a door prize or sponsoring a Hole in One please let me know. Please use the updated entry form- all previous ones are no longer valid. Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

With the current Covid restrictions still in place for the foreseeable future, we have an alternate date of Aug 13/14 for the tournament. Will make formal decision after the next Covid update but please plan ahead to the new proposed date as this is very likely. The Leafs should be just getting out of the Conference finals in mid June on their way to Lord Stanley- so there are some positives here. I will keep everyone posted, thanks for understanding.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. Currently we are still keeping June 11/12 as the tournament date but we will monitor the Covid restrictions early May to decide whether to proceed with the June date or push back to a later date. The intention is to host a great tournament like previous years. Registration is currently not open until a formal decision has been made. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

We have confirmed a tournament date of June 11-12 at Pine Hills Golf Club. This is pending the Covid Restrictions that are in place at the time. A few important changes this year (1)- The minimum team Handicap is lowered to 35. (2)- 2 single digit Handicaps allowed per team but only 1 allowed under 5. The Covid restrictions will determine how many team entries we can have. Registration is not currently open but we anticipate the tournament filling up fast once entry opens.
