Behaviour change and skill development can be challenging. We are often focused more on the larger goal than seeing the small steps and wins we accumulate each week. It’s easy to say the week sucked because the scale didn’t move or progress isn’t happening as quickly as we’d like but I encourage you to see all of the small wins you’re making every day.
* tracking most of your intake
* eating 80-90% on plan
* moving your body 3-4 days a week with INTENTIONAL exercise
* reading something that brings you joy or grows your knowledge.
* doing something out of your comfort zone
* food prepping for the week or at the least, a few days
* not skipping breakfast
* decreasing alcohol consumption
* hitting your daily step goal
* finding something about your body you’re proud of and saying it in the mirror OUT LOUD or sharing it with a friend.
* encouraging someone else in the gym
* nailing your veggie intake
* drinking your f-ing water 😉
…..
The list is literally endless.
You’re all coming from different backgrounds with food history, workout history, body image, etc. but I guarantee you, you all have at least one thing in common…. Looking to better yourselves, improve your health and create lasting habits and a sustainable lifestyle. All it comes down to are simple, intentional skills that turn in to habits, that turn into that lifestyle.

Indoor body weight cardio today.
Give this one a go.
I used this workout as more of a recovery cardio session instead of treadmill incline walking intervals, like I usually do. (I use the Morpheus 7 heart rate strap and HRV/recovery system to track my weekly cardio targets)
You can scale this workout as intense as you want by either adding weights, a weighted vest, increasing speed, or limiting rest.

Who you surround yourself with matters.
What you listen to matters.
What you eat matters.
And the way you speak to yourself matters.
You can’t expect growth while constantly feeding yourself negativity, excuses, poor habits, and environments that drain you and keep you feeling like 💩
Your results are a reflection of what you repeatedly tolerate and consume; mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Want better energy? Better health? Better confidence?
Start being more intentional with what and who you allow into your life.
Get in circles that help you grow, be around people that embody that habits you need to succeed and put aside the excuses that have kept you stuck.
You’re one action away from the life and habits you want.
Nobody else can do that work for you.
So decide & do. 💪🏼

Let me introduce you to this ROCKSTAR!
This is Stacie. Stacie came to me looking to build muscle and improve her nutrition to fuel her workouts and feel more confident in the gym with lifting weights. She had some physique goals in mind after losing a significant amount of weight already but wanted to see what else she could make happen.
I knew we would need to pay close attention to refueling her body, increasing her calories and adjusting her portions after she was in a deficit for several years.
Let me tell you…. This girl is IN IT for the long haul.

Even on the hard days she still shows up.

It’s been a minute….
Hi 👋🏻 I’m still here. Still working 1:1 with clients as well as building our online community. But today I want to highlight someone very special who I’ve had the privilege of working with for the past 9 months.
This here is Leslie 🙂
She initially came to me to help build up her strength for working in her yard and gardening. This woman is BUSY!
Although we’ve known each other for several years through our nursing jobs, this would be a whole new experience for her. With all of the uncertainty of trying something new, being uncomfortable, the pains of learning and remembering new things, she did it anyway.
Throughout the last several months, Leslie has started to show up to the gym on her own, still checking in after her workouts for accountability, but showing up for HERSELF. This has become a non negotiable time for her. Time she can spend focusing on her goals, her strength and not settling for frailty with age. She knows her hard work now will pay off in years to come.
To say I am proud of her is a huge understatement. Every session she shows up, puts in 110%, is always down for whatever I suggest working on and she DOES NOT QUIT. Last week we tackled box jumps, full burpees, inchworms, heavy goblet squats and more. A couple of people came up to her after and said how impressed they were at her strength and stamina.
She has been an absolute gem to work with, sessions I look forward to all week.
Leslie, I am so grateful for your trust, your determination and GRIT. You deserve every bit of success that comes with your hard work, especially in the months to come as gardening season approaches.

This woman is on 🔥
I have to take a moment to brag on my bestie and celebrate the incredible progress she’s made on her health journey. When officially opened my online coaching, she was one of the first to be IN!
Today’s check in was LIT! She’s officially down 20 lbs and 20 inches overall, and it’s all because she’s shown up for herself with real dedication, not perfection, just consistent effort and choosing to stay committed MOST of the time.
What inspires me most is her heart: she’s making sustainable changes, trusting the process, and proving that small steps add up in big ways. And the fact that she just started adding in light exercise this month makes her results even more amazing. She proved over the summer that camping, living at the ball diamonds, being a busy momma & a bossy pants at work wasnt going to stop her from going after what she wants.
Plus, she’s always super supportive to other people in our client group chat!
This woman is the real deal.
