YWCA exists to support and empower women – and their families – through advocacy and integrated services that foster independence, wellness, and equality.

The YWCA in Saint John was founded in February, 1870 – the first YWCA in Canada! Located in uptown Saint John on Germain Street, then Wellington Row, the YWCA has, for 145 years been championing and supporting local women.
