UPDATE: These sessions have been cancelled for the remainder of December, due to low attendance. It seems that our scheduling conflicts with school practices and games, and other sporting events. We will revisit our offerings and try to establish regular, well attended playing opportunities in the new year. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

FERNWOOD DROP IN BASKETBALL SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER

The drop-in times will be 5:30 pm-7:00 pm on Wednesdays for Grades 8-12, and 5:30 pm-7:00 pm Thursdays for Grades 5-7.

THIS IS A CHANGE FROM SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER!

In addition, we'll offer two more Monday drop-ins for Grades 8-12, but they will start 1/2 hour later. (5:30 pm-7:00 pm)

$13 annual SSBA membership required (includes Basketball BC membership).

$5 per drop in session.

SSBA Annual General Meeting: October 7th, 7:00 PM

The meeting will be held in the North Salt Spring Waterworks Boardroom, at 761 Upper Ganges Rd.

FERNWOOD TUESDAY WOMENS' DROP IN CANCELLED

Due to low attendance, we've decided to cancel the remaining Tuesday bookings at Fernwood School this Spring.

If any group of players is interested in booking playing time through the SSBA, please let us know and we'll work to assist with bookings.

Wednesday drop ins will continue.

GIRLS' / WOMEN'S TUESDAY NIGHT DROP-IN BASKETBALL

Come join us for some hoops!

Tuesday nights at the Fernwood Elementary School Gym, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Girls and women grades 8 and up.

Drop in fee $5, SSBA memberships half price for Spring session.

SSBA SPRINGTIME GENERAL MEETING

The Salt Spring Basketball Association will be holding our spring meeting on Thursday (April 10th) at 7:00pm at the North Salt Spring Waterworks District Boardroom (761 Upper Ganges Road, across from Fritz Theatre).

Come learn more about our growing island basketball community and share your thoughts on;

- SSBA Drop-in playing sessions
- Developing SSI club basketball teams
- Local competitive events / tournaments
- Facility improvements and development
- Collaborating with SD64, the CRD, and basketball BC to grow the game on SSI

SALT SPRING BASKETBALL KEEPS GROWING!

With 55 members and counting, the Salt Spring Basketball Association has more opportunities for players of all ages to get on the court this spring!

Women/high school girls drop-in is on Tuesday nights and men/high school boys drop-in is on Wednesday nights. Both nights are 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Fernwood Elementary. One-time drop-in fees are now just $5 per session! (SSBA membership required- reduced fees from now until Basketball BC's renewal date- Sept.1)
