That's right! You can come and get your dance basics covered for an EXTREMELY low price. Starting on Wednesday, January 14 and running once a week for an hour, you can learn the Wedding Dance Basics for just $100/person.
It is strongly recommended you join with a partner!

Dances basics covered will be: Rumba, Jive, Waltz and FOXY! Come learn how to dance with your favourite partner and really show them off!

Come join your favourite fat teachers for our volunteer class with the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club for a reduced price and learn the fundamentals of Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Jive, Rumba, Salsa, Tango, West Coast Swing, and Waltz!

Yeah, that is a lot. You are going to learn SO MUCH!

Class begins on Thursday, Sept 12, and runs once a week until the end of March 2025. Can't wait to see you on the dancefloor!

This is where we first met and discovered our mutual passion for social ballroom dancing. It's also where we met so many of our friends and chosen family.

Dancing is more fun with the people you love, so be sure to tell your friends and family if you haven’t already. Consider sharing this post so we can get the word out to those who may not be on our socials yet.

Once upon a time, I wouldn't join the dance club because I thought, "I'm too fat to do that."

Eventually though, I just jumped in. Jiggles and wiggles and wobbles and all.
Never looked back. Every day is a new day to just DO IT FAT.

There is no reason not to. Body Neutrality is the key.

You might not love your wobbles every day, but that body is still getting you to your kids, your pets, your job, your school, your life...

The U of S Ballroom Dancing Club is the largest Not-for-profit Social Ballroom Club in Canada, and it's where we met as baby puppy beginner dancers a very long time ago!

From September to March, we are Volunteer Instructors with this unique club that has given us so much.

Tonight, they are offering a FREE Cha-Cha lesson from 7-7:30pm, with social dancing to follow until 9pm.

If you've never danced a step, but always kind of wondered about it, this is a great chance to see what we do - FOR FREE!

If you're already an accomplished dancer or just wanting a chance to enjoy what you've already learned in the outdoors, come join us!

We are the founders of The Right Foot Dance Company: Byron and Rheanne.
We are two fat kids that have grown up into two fat adults who LOVE to dance!

We are inclusive instructors, and our passion is to introduce the joy of social dancing to beginners.

If we can do it, we know you can too!

We can come to you, you can come to us, or you can grab (nicely) a few of your friends, and we can get a small group class (or large group) going for you.

The bottom line? We want to get you moving on the dance floor as soon as possible! We want you to have fun and enjoy learning a new hobby.

It's not about perfect. It's about joy.
