🧑‍🧒Family Ties Friday🧑‍🧒

Something pretty cool will happen this fall when Logan Wilm suits up for the Saskatoon Blazers for the 2026-27 season. Logan and his dad Clarke, will join the list of Father/Son combos who have played for the Blazers when Logan dons the B full-time. They join Eric and Geoff Grandberg, Kristian and Jesse Lacelle, Tyson and Paul Buczkowski, and Roger and Scott McQueen as the most recent Father/Son duos to wear Blazers blue and orange

Logan is following in his dad’s footsteps after signing with the Blazers this spring. He dressed for 4 games with the B’s in the 25-26 Regular Season as an AP and also suited up in the Saskatchewan Hockey Classic during the Christmas break where he picked up 2 points (1G,1A) in 5 games

Clarke Wilm was a member of the 1991-92 Provincial Champion Saskatoon Blazers. He followed his Blazers career playing 322 games in 4+ seasons with the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL

He went on to play 15 season of professional hockey in the NHL, AHL and Europe

Congratulations to Blazers Alum Dayne Beuker on his signing with the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes for the 2026-27 season

Dayne helped the 2023-24 Blazers capture the 2nd of back-to-back Provincial Championships in the Smaaahl

With the Blazers, he was an SMU18AAAHL 1st Team All-Star, Rookie of the Year, Top Scorer, Top Forward and League MVP

Dayne is also committed to the Denver Hockey Pioneers
