As they say, all good things must come to an end.And this year, the Ryder Cup is coming to a close. I want to thank everyone who has played in the Ryder Cup since its inception in 2001. And it's sponsors,Maxies O'Shea's and Amigos.I hope you all enjoyed playing in it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
As I always said, it was the people playing in it that made it a success and not the organizer. Its goal was not so much the competition but to bring a great group of guys together who don't always have the opportunity to get together and have fun,some laughs and reconnect.
That, for me, is what it was all about.
I thank you all for supporting and playing in it and creating many memories for all of us we won't forget.

The final event is June 7th, where the original 24 players from 2001 will play to celebrate its 23 years and close off the competition. The final Captain's Social will be held on Weds. June 5th, where it all started at David's Lounge. Everyone is more than welcome to join us that evening for some more laughs and fun...
You know the Ryder Cup and the infamous Walrus Classic Scramble was all born out of David's...who knows...something new could be in the works.

The 2023 Ryder Fall Match is complete. Congratulations to Captain Marv Deck and his Team for taking home the trophy.

A big thanks to Vinny Dziadyk for providing the Bus transportation. Amigos Cantina for the pre tourney Social. Thanks to Rosthern Valley Golf Course and Eecol Electric for sponsorship of the Prize Hole.
But most of all to all the Players.
I've said it before and will continue to say, this is the best group of Friends to get together to enjoy an afternoon of golf.
It's all about the fun and friendship.
I hope we all have many more years left in us to continue this fun tradition!

Another successful Ryder Cup in the books. Team Deck were victorious once again in the Spring Match Play format. Big Thanks to the staff at Moon Lake Golf and Country Club for their great service and the beautiful course conditions. Thanks to the best group of friends you would want to play with. It's all of them that makes the tourney so much fun and running for so long. See you in the fall boys at Rosthern.

A Big Thanks to all who could make it out for a great evening before the big match. Lots of laughs, sharing memories, great food and catching up with old friends.
A huge shout out to Amigos Cantina for hosting us and there excellent staff, to Glen Dziadyk and Wes for graciously getting us all the fantastic appetizers. And of course the Captains Marv and Don for putting up with the abuse from us all for their picks of matches. It's all about the fun and friendship that makes the Ryder Cup.

Congrats to Terry Gibson for dropping it in on the Par 3 Hole #2. And to top it off, this was his inaugural match in the Ryder Cup.
