The Prairie Quarter Horse Breeders Group, founded in 2009, is a group of Canadian ranchers who have banded together to have an Anuual Sale of their horses in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, once a year. The 3rd Annual PQHB Horse Sale, Saturday,April 21st,2012 will be held indoors at the Agrigultural Centre, Saskatoon Prairieland Park, Saskatoon,Sk. All horses purchased each year at the Select Prairie Quarter Horse Sale are eligible to compete (for the lifetime of the horse) at the Annual Prairie Futurity, on the day prior to each year’s sale. The 2011 futurity offered competitions for horses 2 years old and up with Youth, Non-pro & Open classes. Major sponsors such as Affordable Barns & Garage and many others generously donated cash prizes, a one – year lease of a horse trailer courtesy of Moose Jaw Toyota Trailer Sales and a working cow horse saddle , courtesy of K&K Livestock, of Calgary, Alberta. We are also excited to announce that we have planned and are offering a series of clinics to help prepare for the April 20, 2012 Prairieland Futurity…. Clinics will held at Running Bar F Arena, home of Randy & Wendy Fernets, Grandora, Sask., on several dates throughout the winter and instructed by some of Saskatchewan’s Best Trainers! We welcome all Interested Participants!! Several clinics are designed with the futurity classes in mind – some are for general skills. PQHB is sad to let everyone know we will NOT be having a sale in April. There is just not enough people to help and make the sale succeed.
We are looking into having the futurity later on into the summer.
Please keep checking in for updates on our status.

CR Performance Horses would like to congratulate Christine Leoppky & Just Like Flint! This duo did very well with the following placings in Non Pro Versatility at the PQHB Futurity yesterday:
4th - Halter, 1st - Western Pleasure, 2nd - Reining, 2nd - Ranch Riding, 1st - Cutting and 1st - Fence Work, which resulted in them being named the Champions of the Non Pro Versatility! Awesome job you two!
Just Like Flint was a c**t we bred and raised, sired by Silver Sage Dually out of Docs Electric Energy.
