Fired right up after a cold winter

Pulled the old car out of the garage, cleaned out the trailer and going to haul it home. Will make a decision on what to do with it this season, pocket book is telling me to leave it in the garage. Lol

Would like to give the biggest thanks to my one and only sponsor,
Exhausted Repair Ltd.
Tristan and Carlye Saunders have been the most help to me both on and off the track. I wouldn’t have made it out without the help of them and I’m very thankful for it.
Would also like to thank Steven Lebedoff, Candace McClean Lebedoff and Scott Lebedoff for their support and continuous help through my racing career, I owe it all to you guys.
I also owe it all to the #79 Supertruck (I owe them big time). Our dry cell battery kicked the bucket after the first heat and we couldn’t get it charged enough to get the car started. They had a spare dry cell battery and let me borrow it to run the future. I would have never made it out to that future without their help. I am forever grateful and in their debt, they’re a huge part of why my night was so amazing
I would like to thank Dusty Carrier for giving me some left and right side tire for the race. You helped me get out there last night and I will always be thankful for it
Also for the amazing go pro footage I would like to thank Kelly Schmidt from Eagle Creek in Meadow Lake for sponsoring the go pro for us to use. I’ll have to post some of that footage for you later.
I like to thank everyone in the Street Stock class, it was fun to run with the big dogs and they were very respectful on the track, sorry Andy for breaking you loose there
I would also like to thank Andy Fairbrother for giving me two left side tires after the race, I’ll be sure to put them to good use. I had an amazing night racing with you and hope next year will be just as amazing

I had an amazing race and a absolutel blast doing it. I may have only made 75 laps of the 100 laps but I learned a lot about the car and had an amazing night.
Friday the day before the race we went out to practice and scuff the front right but it was cut short due to #4 rocker arm nuts backing off. So we loaded the car and took it back home. Than in the morning before the race I took it to Exhausted Repair and we put new nuts on and re adjusted the lash and it seems to be holding now.
The race day might not have been a fast one, I might have been off pace a bit and at the back of the pack. But we went out to get seat time and learn the car and boy did we learn a lot. We just didn’t have a good enough carb and with the carb running way to rich we ended up burning up the #7 plug, so we were running the race on 7 cylinders with a quite noticeable miss in her. Got pretty bad near the end of the race with fuel seeping through the gaskets. We learned we need a new set of heads, maybe ones that don’t have such a large combustion chamber. And some other little things here and there.
The car handle great with the last 30 laps. The start of the race the car was a bit to tight in the rear, not letting me carry that much momentum through the corners but after we went back out from the competition caution the tires started wearing away and the rear got a little more loose letting me hold more speed through the corner. Which greatly improved the handling in the car. So I know what I need to do for next year to make her competitive, make it loose because “loose is fast and on the edge of out of control”
I had an amazing night and it’ll be one to remember.
Thank all you guys at the track for these amazing memories❤️
