The application to be a coach or part of the team staff for the U16/U18 provincial team for the Western Canada Team Challenge deadline is May 31. The online form can be found on our website: saskathletics.ca

Our first outdoor meet of the season is the Regina Spring Classic, taking place May 8-9, 2026 at the Canada Games Athletics Complex in Regina.

Congratulations to Savannah Sutherland on being named to Team Canada for the World Athletics Relays taking place in Gaborone, Botswana (May 2-3, 2026)

Are you looking for a fun activity for your child to do this summer? Saskatchewan Legion Camp is back this year in Regina from July 6-10. This also doubles as the try out for Team Saskatchewan to compete at Legion Nationals in Regina from Aug 7-9, 2026. Register before June 17 to experience this incredible camp. sasklegion.ca/track

The last indoor meet of the season begins tomorrow. Come out and watch the next NAIG star compete at the Saskatoon Fieldhouse, Fri and Sat.

This week's Feature Friday is Femi Akinloye. Femi is alumni of Excel Athletika and currently competes for the U of R Cougars. He had a very successful outdoor season, medaling in the 4x100m relay at Canada Summer Games, and followed it up with a very strong indoor season.

The Saskatoon Indoor Games takes place in Saskatoon, March 20-21, 2026. This also doubles as our U12 and U14 Provincial Championships)

This Club Coach Technical course is ideal for coaches working with athletes competing at the high school and club levels. Coaches can choose to focus on one of the event specific disciplines during this course.
