Saskatoon Husaria Dancers

This is only our 3rd year of Polish dance and the group has grown year after year. This is our 2nd time performing at Mosaic in Regina. The kids always have a blast performing for the packed Polish Pavilion. We are always welcomed with open arms and so nice to see other groups perform.

The Saskatoon Husaria Folk Dancers had the privilege of performing at the supper and dance organized by the Polish Catholic Association to commemorate May 3rd Polish Constitution Day.

The dance group has grown this year. The junior and intermediate dance group had the opportunity to showcase their new dances and new costumes.

Thank you to the community members, Polish Catholic Association, Sask lotteries, Polish cultural grants and just recently the Knights of Columbus for your generous donation. Your contributions allow us to purchase new traditional costumes from Poland, ensuring that we can continue to proudly share and preserve Polish culture through dance. These costumes are an essential part of our performances, helping us present our heritage with authenticity and pride.

The dancers had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to our next performance at Mosaic in Regina this upcoming June.

Thrilled to have this young dance group from Saskatoon join us for performances on the afternoon of Saturday, June 6 at the Polish Pavilion!

We were so very fortunate to receive a grant of 13 860,00 zł this year to help our small but mighty dance group purchase new costumes. Stay tuned to see what we were able to order from Poland! Coming February/March 2026.

Cookie decorating, Christmas games, presents from Santa and some pizza! Great way to ring in the holidays with our dancers and families. Thank you PCA for sponsoring this event.

The Polish Catholic Association (PCA) are sponsoring a Children’s Christmas Party at the Polish church. Members of the Husaria dance group are helping organize the event this year. Families of the Polish church and dance group are welcome to attend. Santa will be appearing and handing out presents to the kids. Please bring a small gift with your child’s name on it for Santa to distribute.

Thank you to Dr. B. & P. Szkup who generously donated to the Husaria Folk Dancers as we continue to raise money for new costumes. These costumes are handmade and come from Poland. They help to represent and preserve the Polish culture. Our dance group will have the opportunity to dance at several cultural events this year. Thank you once again for all your support.
