At tonight’s meeting, City Council unanimously approved renaming the portion of Anita Boulevard adjacent to the YNCU Curling Centre to Team Jacobs Way, in recognition of two-time Olympic champions Team Jacobs. A very well deserved tribute!

Congratulations to Brad, captain of Shield, and the entire squad on the first Rock League title!

What a ride. To finish the season in St. John’s and leave it all out there after bringing home gold meant a lot.
