A banner season! 👀
We're proud to share that our 2025 provincial championship banner is now hanging up on display at our home club, the YNCU Curling Centre. We're honoured to be a part of the illustrious list of champions displayed at our curling club.

🚨 TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
As all of our competitive seasons have come to a close, we unfortunately have to announce that we will be going in separate ways next season.
Carter is interested in continuing to curl competitively as he ages up into U20 next season and is open to options.
Kamdyn is moving to Sudbury for school and is considering his options and availability for next season.
Jake and Justin plan on sticking together in U20 next season.
As we part ways, we would like to thank our sponsors, families, and friends for their gracious support in making our accomplishments this season a possibility.
We all greatly enjoyed and appreciated the honour of representing Northern Ontario this season and all hope to do so again in the future.
We would also like to thank our coach, Chrissy McClelland for her exceptional leadership this season. Thank you for stepping up into a coaching role and giving us your time and offering us your knowledge. Thank you for leading us through the ups and downs of a competitive curling season and guiding us to winning a provincial championship and an 11th place finish at the national championship. Your positivity, honesty, organization, communication, and energy was the foundation of our team and we greatly appreciate everything you have done for us throughout the year.
We are fortunate to have built lasting friendships and look forward to competing with, or against each other on the ice in the future.
Thank you. 💚💛
- Jake, Carter, Kamdyn, and Justin

The end of the road.
Our time in Saskatoon ends with a strong win over British Columbia! This win ranks us 11th in Canada. Although we fell just short of the playoffs, we are still extremely proud of ourselves this week.
It's been the honour of a lifetime to wear the yellow hearts on our jackets and represent Team Northern Ontario on the national stage.
Thank you to Curling Canada, the Nutana Curling Club, the City of Saskatoon, CurlSask, and all of the volunteers for hosting a wonderful national championship and ensuring all teams get the best national experience possible despite several travel issues.
