Let’s continue the conversation around what makes WellCycle different - our intentional, science-backed programming.

Next up: STRENGTH 💪

Strength intentionally shifts the body from quick bursts of intensity into sustained, purposeful effort, building both physical resilience and mental focus.

The Strength segment is designed to train muscular endurance and power through resistance, control, and intention. In this segment riders work at slower cadences with heavier resistance, creating sustained muscular demand that challenges the legs and supporting muscles.

But strength training isn’t just about pushing harder. It’s about learning to stay connected through discomfort, maintain control under fatigue, and move with purpose instead of momentum. 

This segment supports functional strength, joint stability, and long-term performance - both on and off the bike.

Introducing the WellCycle Summer Series: a summer-long challenge designed to keep you connected to movement, community, and yourself all season long.

From June 1 – August 31, complete rides, collect points, earn rewards, and move your way through summer with us!

Whether you’re here every week or fitting rides in between lake days, vacations, weddings, and late summer nights - this challenge was built to support consistency without perfection.

Because movement shouldn’t feel all-or-nothing.

The Beginner Block is BACK for one last run before the summer ☀️

By popular request, our three class beginner series is returning. New to spin? Or looking to better understand the why behind the dial, the beat or the WellCycle segmented approach?

This is for you.

Over three classes, we’ll break down the foundations of rhythm riding, bike set up, and walk you through the intention and science behind our programming; all in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

$45 + tax gets you in for all three classes (and a few new friends along the way).

This block will run Sunday at 10am on May 31, June 7 and June 14th. Once you register, you’ll be automatically booked into all three classes.

Come as you are and be prepared to learn something new and gain confidence on the bike! The beginner block is live on the app under WellCycle pricing.

Let’s talk about what makes WellCycle different - our intentional, science-backed programming. We’re breaking down each of our four segments found in every class, starting with: SPEED⚡️

SPEED is designed to train leg turnover, agility, and anaerobic capacity.

But the magic of this segment isn’t just in the work - it’s in the recovery. The goal in each of our speed tracks is to train hard AND recover between each set of work.

One of the biggest misconceptions in training?
That more is always better.

At WellCycle, we know recovery is part of the work. If your heart rate is still elevated as the next effort begins, listen to your body and take the recovery you need. Training with intention will always outperform training without awareness.

Now we gotta know, whose favourite segment is SPEED??

Where would our healthcare system be without nurses 🏥

From two critical care Registered Respiratory Therapists, this week feels extra special because we know nurses as our “partners in crimes”. Our ride or die team members in the emergency departments, intensive care units (adults, peds and NICU), adult and pediatric wards, outpatient care and of course the medevac transport teams.

The past few years have been a lot. We see you, we value you, and we appreciate everything you carry both inside and outside the hospital walls. When we created WellCycle we wanted it to be a space where those who deal with the weight of life-or-death situations every day could come move, breathe, have a healthy outlet and simply feel taken care of too.

In honour of this week, all nurses can receive 35% off any regular priced class pack. Simply email your SHA ID to [email protected] as well as what class pack you’d like to purchase and we will take it from there.

From one member of the healthcare team to another, thank you for everything you do for our patients and our community 🤍
