Sharing this free workshop happening in Pictou October 7 and 14! Please reach out to the organizers for more information.

Caring for the Caregiver is a psychoeducational program that was made to help increase understanding of caregiver burnout and recognize its potential impact, while also validating peopleโ€™s lived experiences as caregivers. During the program strategies will be discussed as to how caregivers can support themselves and those they provide care for, including discussion of caregiver supports available locally and online.
This workshop takes place at the Pictou Library (99 Water Street, Pictou) October 7th and 14th from 10am-12pm.

Pictou County Hike Club will be guiding a 7.6km hike at Fitzpatrick Mountain on Sunday, September 20 starting at 10:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to join us and explore even more of these mountain trails.

Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: Fitzpatrick Mountain (Meet at the Scotsburn Recreation Club Parking Lot 4114 Scotsburn Road, Scotsburn)
Distance: 7.6km (approximately 2-2.5hours)

They also have a website where you can find information on housing, employment training, transportation and accessibility.

The weather decided to play ball ๐Ÿ˜‰, and we were able to wrap up our last night of ball & our first year as a Jays Care Community Partner.

Tuesday, Aug 25th is our last night of Youth Ball, so we are wrapping up the season with FREE BBQ for players, family & fans!

A big thank you to the Jays Care Foundation for their support this year! Come grab a bite, celebrate our players and volunteers, and enjoy the summer evening together.
