Our nervous system is constantly responding to our environment. In today’s fast-paced world, many of us spend a lot of time in a state of stress — rushing, multitasking, and carrying tension in our bodies.

Pilates combines intentional breathing, focused movement, and body awareness, all practices that can support nervous system regulation and help us feel more present in our bodies.

Slow, controlled breathing can encourage the body’s relaxation response, while mindful movement helps us reconnect with ourselves and step out of autopilot.

Pilates is not about “fixing” your body or eliminating stress. It is a practice that helps us build strength, awareness, and resilience giving us the tools to move through life with more balance.

Sometimes the greatest benefit of movement is not just how it changes our bodies, but how it helps us feel at home in them.

InCentre offers small class sizes and instruction from comprehensively trained Pilates teachers with 15+ years Pilates teaching and a background in dance. We provide a positive, encouraging and healthy environment so dancers appreciate, respect and love the body that allows them to perform their craft.
Open to all dancers from all studios, former dancers, and teachers. Must be 12+years
