Today's drop in temperature is a welcome relief for the pony mares and foals. With cooler temperatures and the promise of rain tomorrow, the black flies have also given them a break and everyone was relaxing in the cool evening by the pond.

Pasture management this morning meant a hike to the back of the field to find the broodmares and convince that coming in to stand on their dry lot for the day was good idea.

This sweet pony is commonly known as ShortRound. He is 2 yrs old and has just started his education about driving, wearing a bridle and surcingle. ShortRound lives outside in a mixed group of pony mares, foals and other youngsters. He is polite and well mannered with people and other horses. He has been trailered, and is good to tie and lead. He picks up his feet, but doesnt love that activity yet. He is friendly in the field and always easy to catch. ShortRound is 11.1 hands (114 cm) tall and is close to his mature height. He is ideally suited as a performance driving pony or to carry your smallest riders.
Vaccinated, up to date on hoof care and worming.
Reasonably priced at 35🥕🥕

Northern Xylophone is still on her journey to her new home in California. She had a nice holiday in Armstrong BC to get the last of her export paperwork done and today she crossed the border and is officially a US citizen now! She meets her new family tomorrow. Its been an exciting learning curve to have this pony exported south. So looking forward to watching Xylophone be developed into a show pony. 🙂
