Smiths Falls G&CC Tuesday Twilight, 125 Golf Club Road Smiths Falls On, Smiths Falls, ON (2026)

09/26/2026

🏌️‍♂️ Welcome to the 2026 Invitational 🏌️‍♀️
Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club | 1:00 PM Shotgun Start
Ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome to a tradition unlike any other…

Today, the hallowed fairways of Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club once again play host to a legendary gathering — a test of grit, grace, and good-natured trash talk. A place where heroes are made, beers are crushed, and putts long or short are missed with equal glory.

You are not just playing a round. You are etching your name into history.

The votes are in, and the battlefield is set.

Eighteen fearless squads have entered the arena:

The Ducks
Misfits
Rob Roy's
Balls Deep
Creek Side
Lewies Lads
Original Six
Six Putts
Healey's Hacks
Grip Rip It's
Road Runners
Tormac Trees
Healey's Transportation
Who's Your Caddy
WOGD
Tuesday Tornados
Natural Hazards
Unique Mechanical

Some come with swagger.
Some come with strategy.
Some… just came for the beers.

But all come with one purpose: to claim bragging rights eternal.

Will it be the seasoned swing of the Original Six?
The explosive energy of Balls Deep?
Or a dark horse run from one of the field's hungry contenders?

The greens await.
The fairways are cut.
The carts are gassed up and the drivers are swinging big.

At 1:00 PM sharp, with a shotgun start, history begins.

🏆 Welcome to the 2026 Invitational. Let the games begin. 🏆

🏌️‍♂️ Tuesday Night Men’s League Update 🏌️‍♂️

How is it possible that the bugs are still absolutely out of control this late in the season, yet the course is in such incredible condition? 🤔

The greens are rolling, the fairways are looking great, and the mosquitoes are apparently enjoying a career year. At this point, we may need to start counting bug bites as strokes. 🦟😂

🏆 This Week’s Leaders

Leading the charge this week were Healey’s Hacks and Who’s Your Caddy?, both finishing with a solid net score of -3. Nicely done!

Meanwhile, the 6 Puttz continue to hold the overall lead with just two weeks left in the season. The pressure is on!

Unique Mechanical is also putting together an impressive run for a new team. They may be newcomers, but they’re certainly not playing like it. 👀

🎯 Last Week’s Hidden Holes

The hidden holes were:

Front: 1, 4, 9
Back: 10, 13, 18

And once again, all the skins went to Balls Deep.

Hmmmmm… 🤔

At this point, the statistician is asking questions. The statistician has no evidence, but the statistician is asking questions. 😂

📍 Closest to the Pins

Congratulations to Matt Wallace and Graeme Hendry, both from the 6 Puttz!

Perhaps that explains why they’re scoring so well… or perhaps the 6 Puttz have discovered the secret formula. Either way, the rest of the league may want to start taking notes. 📝

📢 This Week

Sponsor: 6 Puttz
Format: Team Scramble
Start Time: 5:00 p.m.

Two weeks left, the standings are tightening, and the bugs are still undefeated.

See everyone Tuesday! 🏌️‍♂️🍻

🏌️ Luke Chisholm continues to bring the heat for Team Creekside. Big drives, aggressive play and absolutely no fear of the natural hazards.

🏌️ Shaun Bennett and Team Balls Deep are always capable of putting up a number. With six golfers swinging away, expect some fireworks.
🏌️ Ron Jansen leads Who’s Your Caddy into Week 14. The question isn't whether they'll find a hazard… it's whether they'll admit they were aiming there. 😂

🏌️ Aaron Wallace and Team Misfits are looking to make some noise as the season moves closer to the playoffs.
🏌️ Fitz and the Tormac Tree Huggers are back protecting the forest — although judging by some of Fitz's tee shots, the trees may need protection from him. 🌲😂
🏌️ Kevin Lewis keeps Lewie’s Lads rolling, while somehow maintaining his unofficial title of Most Likely to Have Another Story After the Round. 😂
🏌️ Cole Larmour and Team Ducks are back at it, where confidence remains high and the putter remains under investigation. 🦆😂

🩺 AND FINALLY… THE DOCTORS ARE IN! 🩺

Tuesday Men’s League Recap

A big thank you to this week’s sponsors, The Ducks, also known around the course as the Quack Attack. They kept the league afloat… unlike a few tee shots that found the pond.

This week’s Hidden Holes were 1, 8, 9 on the front and 10, 17, 18 on the back. Hopefully you remembered to save your best golf for those holes!

Congratulations to Peter Yunker for taking home Closest to the Pin on Hole #3. The Ducks and Rob Roy’s each picked up a skin this week—proof that sometimes one great hole is all you need.

Leading the charge on the Hidden Holes with a stellar net -5 were the 6 Puttz, helped out by substitute Justin Hull. Justin and his partner were on fire, carding an impressive -6 on the front nine. Rumour has it they finally found the secret: fewer putts, more birdies.

Close behind at net -4 were Balls Deep and Lewie’s Lads, keeping the pressure on as the standings tighten up.

With this week’s results, 6 Puttz have climbed back into first place overall, followed closely by Creekside and Unique Mechanical. With only a few weeks remaining, the race for the championship is shaping up to be tighter than someone’s grip after missing a two-footer.

From here on out, we’ll be switching to the team scramble format, so now you’ll finally have someone else to blame for the bad shots!

Next week’s sponsor is Natural Hazards. Hopefully they sponsor better lies than the bunkers and ponds have been giving us.

League Reminder: This is a Men’s League, and all players—regulars and substitutes alike—must be 18 years of age or older.

See everyone next Tuesday, and remember: keep it in the fairway… or at least out of someone else’s.
