We are thrilled to be hosting the Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador Avalon Bowling Competition today! As you can see, the lanes are on fire so far!

We’re here at Holiday Lanes kicking off the first Bowl for Kids’ Sake event! 🎳

Over the next week, we’ll welcome more than 500 bowlers coming together to support local youth through mentoring. The energy is high and we’re just getting started!

The Newfoundland Bowling Tour has been an integral part of the success in Newfoundland bowling over the past decade, and it’s always an honour to host one of their events.

A successful tournament involves lots of moving parts. Many of those parts are directly in the host centre! Today, we highlight hosts of the 2026 Body Quest Classic, Holiday Lanes.

The first ever NBT event was held there in April 2017, and we have returned multiple times over the years – each experience has been amazing! It has been two years since our last event at Holiday Lanes, so we look forward to making some new memories there next week.

They are a wonderful spot for birthdays, socials, and more as they are a fully licensed 12-lane facility. Please consider Holiday Lanes when planning your next bowling adventure!

❄️ Update: We’re Remaining Closed Today ❄️

At the continued request of the City to limit non-essential travel while crews complete snow clearing, Holiday Lanes will remain closed for the rest of the day.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as the City works to clear roads safely. Stay safe and we’ll share updates about tomorrow as soon as we can.

❄️ Storm Update – Afternoon Closure ❄️

In line with the request from the City of St. John’s to limit travel and allow crews the space they need for snow clearing, we will be closed this afternoon.

We support the City’s efforts to keep roads clear and everyone safe during this ongoing storm.

We will provide an update by 4:00 PM regarding our plans for the evening.

Please stay safe and avoid travel unless necessary. Thanks for your understanding!
