U14 & U16 ATHLETES: FITNESS TESTING REQUIRED

Fitness testing is mandatory for U14 and U16 athletes who wish to be eligible for the 2027 CAN AM and Canada Winter Games (CWG) events.

Two sessions are available:

Wow PMRC, you all really showed up yesterday! What an amazing way to kick off the ski season!

A few highlights from the day:

● Congratulations to Ella Daigle and Oliver Doherty on being named Ski NB Coaches of the Year! Well deserved!
● Scavenger hunt champions: Our athletes made it to the top in record time!
● Outdoor Elements: Thank you for keeping us educated, well-equipped, and in perfectly fitted gear all winter long. A special shoutout to our head rep, Nathan!
● U18 athletes: We’re excited to offer reduced rates for our U18 program!

Looking Ahead

● Ski NB U12+ Pre-Season Camp: December 5–11 at Mont Sainte Anne. More information from Ski NB is coming soon!
● Level 1 Officials Course: A virtual course will be offered soon! We encourage all parents to participate. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about ski racing and understand what happens on race day.

PMRC AGM & Season Kick-Off

Saturday, October 24 @11:00 am in the Race Shack.

Following the AGM, we’ll have:
1. An update from Ski NB
2. An update from Poley Mountain Resort
3. A Tech Talk with Outdoor Elements and a special guest

There will also be plenty of activities for our athletes, including:

● Athlete headshots: Photos with our PMRC backdrop. Please bring your PMRC jacket and race skis.
● Scavenger adventure hunt: An adventure to the top of Poley.
● Treats and other fun activities!

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we kick off another exciting season together!
