Gathered a few late broccoli florets for supper this evening โ cool from the autumn breeze, firm from the good earth, and a fine reminder that the garden still gives, even as the season wanes. ๐ฅฆ๐๐พ
As the golden hues of autumn paint the skies over Thunder Bay, the gentle slosh of water draining from the weathered barrels at Adventure 38 signals the tender close of yet another triumphant gardening season. ๐๐

Probably the last grass-cutting of the season around our gardens at Adventure 38. ๐ The airโs cooler, the mowerโs hum feels slower, and autumnโs gold is settling in. Time to let the land rest and ready itself for winterโs quiet blanket. ๐พโจ

We spend lots of time outside enjoying our 38 acre property on the outskirts of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. A quick 10 minute drive from the city, wildness abounds. Our realization: life here is great and it makes sense for us to share the benefits of rural living with others.
