CanSkate Equipment Reminder!

As we get ready for another great season of skating, we want to make sure all of our CanSkaters are safe, comfortable, and set up for success on the ice! ❤️💙
A few important equipment reminders:

🪖 CSA-approved hockey helmet is a MUST
❌ Bicycle, ski, snowboard and other helmets are not permitted
⛸️ Properly fitted skates with good ankle support are essential
🧦 Thin socks or tights work best in skates
🧤 Gloves or mittens are required
🧥 Dress in layers and avoid bulky jackets so skaters can move freely

Remember: proper-fitting skates make a BIG difference! A good pair should provide firm ankle support while still allowing the skater to flex and move.

👉 Check out the graphic below for helpful tips on choosing the right equipment for your CanSkater!
If you're unsure about equipment, we're always happy to help! 😊⛸️
