Hey everyone!! I want to officially introduce myself. I'm Bonnie and I was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2004 with Composite Lymphoma. I am the creator of this account and the creator of these little stuffed animals, or amigurumis.

The past 20 years has been an eventful and fulfilling part of my life, including the first 6 years of annual blood work and follow ups. Cancer has literally changed my life, allowing me to be extra spontaneous, to be a free spirit, and to enjoy life to its fullest.

I know first hand what it's like to experience a cancer diagnosis as a young adult, and let me tell you, it was not fun! If you are terrified of needles as much as I am, Bonnie's Besties were created to help other cancer patients hold on to something and remind them that they are not going through their journey alone.

As the month of May comes to an end, big news are coming soon as I navigate a career change and I am ecstatic to share it. Stay tuned. Here's to 20 more years of life, love, and happiness!

April is quickly passing us by, and we can not forget to share another cancer awareness before this month ends. As many may already know, it's Testicular Cancer Awareness month. It is the most common cancer among young men, so check yourself!
