21K and Weight Lifting to top it off. Rain or shine… work has to be done. You get what you put in! Most of y’all are asking how I lost so much weight so quickly. I stopped listening to myself and started talking! Down 4lbs this week 😤

Ketogenic Diet
- A diet that is based on restricted carbs

- Only allowed about 20-50g of carbs a day which is about 5-10%

- The remaining calories are divided between Fat and Protein, 70-80% and 10-20% respectively

- Protein increases and fat reduces for the diet if you exercise more to retain muscle mass during the diet

- If done correctly you will enter ketosis which is a metabolic process when the body is absent of carbohydrates

- The liver metabolizes fatty acids to make ketones which it uses as a replacement energy source

- This process leads to significant decrease in weight loss (body fat) and a reduced BMI due to reduction of fat mass

Barbell Bent Over Row - great for building strength in your traps, lats, rear delts, and all of those muscles on your scapula in the upper back

- Start with a slight bend in your knees
- Push your chest through and shoulders back so you can maintain a flat back through the motion
- Hinge at the hips as if you were touching your toes and place your hands on the bar shoulder width apart using a pronates (overhand) grip
- Look at the floor and bar right underneath you to keep your spine in line
- Pull shoulders back and lift the bar so that you are just slightly off the floor
- You will then pull your elbows past your torso so much so that the bar touches your chest
- Pinch your scapula (back) together as the bar reaches its highest point
- Remain slightly parallel to the floor and try not to swing and jerk with the motion -

It’s not about how much you lift its about how efficiently YOU can lift and how much YOU are getting out of it! Enjoy!

- Fat is essential for cells, skin health, and healthy cholesterol levels
- They are a great source of vitamins C, E, K and B-6!

One of my clients executing a stiff legged deadlift. This exercise targets the hamstrings and glutes

- Feet shoulder width apart
- Pronated (overhand) grip
- Chest out, shoulder back to maintain a flat back through the motion
- Slightly bent knees
- Bend at the hip and lower while maintaining the flat back
-Keep your head oriented downward to avoid a curved spine
-Go until you feel the stretch in your hamstrings and glutes and then rise back to the starting position
