I have a farm. The farm manager, who had studied Animal Science, stole some fowls one day. As he was trying to sneak out through the gate, the gateman caught him with the fowls and demanded a receipt. The manager panicked. He pulled the gateman aside and whispered, *"Look, if you report this, am I not the one who will face a query? Just forget about it."* So, the gateman let it go.
But a few months later, there was a delay in paying staff salaries.
The gateman walked up to the manager and said, *"Oga, can I get two thousand naira from you?"*
The manager replied, *"Where on earth do you expect me to get two thousand naira right now?"*
The gateman smiled and said, *"Well, you better go and find it, because you remember that fowl business the other day. If I had reported that matter to the front office, they would have sacked you by now. Go and look for my two thousand naira."* The manager had to keep quiet and find the money.
The next time salaries were delayed, the gateman came back. *"Oga, can I get five thousand naira?"*
The manager said, *"Where will I get five thousand naira?"*
The gateman replied, *"Sir, you better go and look for it. You know that if I had gone to Baba omolehin to report that fowl issue, you wouldn't be working here anymore. Go find the five thousand naira and bring it."* Again, the manager paid to keep him quiet.
A few weeks later, the gateman came with another story. *"Oga, my child is teething. We didn't sleep all through the night. Can I get ten thousand naira from you?"*
The manager cried out, *"Where will I get ten thousand naira?"*
The gateman said, *"Look, you better go and find it, because you clearly don't appreciate what I am doing for you behind the scenes."* The manager went and scrambled to find ten thousand naira just to appease him.
Not long after, it happened again. *"Oga, my wife was just involved in an Okada (motorcycle) accident. Can I get twenty thousand naira from you?"*
The manager said, *"Where will I get twenty thousand naira?"*
The gateman repeated his favorite line: *"You better go and find it. You don't know what I'm doing for you."*
Finally, the manager spoke to a close friend who gave him some stellar advice: *"Take this matter to Baba omolehin yourself. Go and report yourself directly."*
So, the manager came to my office and confessed everything. I looked at him and said, *"Well, I didn't catch you in the act. You are the one who has willingly come to repent. I forgive you, but please, never do it again."* He left my office a free man.
A few days later, the gateman came back to blackmail him again. *"Oga, they are driving my children out of school for school fees. Can I get twenty-five thousand naira from you?"*
The manager looked him in the eye and said, *"Where will I get twenty-five thousand naira?"*
The gateman threatened, *"In fact, when the office resumes tomorrow morning, I am going straight to Baba omolehin to report you!"*
The manager smiled and said, *"Go ahead. I have already reported myself."*
The gateman was shocked. *"You weren't supposed to say it! I am the one who was supposed to say it!"*
The manager replied, *"What is important here—you or me? At least somebody had to say it, and I have already said it myself."*
The gateman stammered, *"Hey... what did Baba Mole say?"*
The manager answered, *"Baba omolehin has completely forgiven me."*
The gateman muttered in frustration, *"You really weren't supposed to say it..."*
The Spiritual Lesson: Silencing the Accuser
Many of us find ourselves in situations where the devil is constantly blackmailing and reporting us. He is always whispering in your ear, talking about what you did not do well, reminding you of your flaws, and pointing out where you didn't measure up.
But you can break his leverage today. Why allow the enemy to keep holding your past over your head? Can we simply go directly to our Heavenly Father, lay it all out, and settle it with Him? Once it is settled with the Father, the accuser loses his power, and we can return to our place of authority in complete freedom.

GOD ALWAYS CONFIRMS HIS WORD! THIS TIES IN WITH THE WORD THERAPY OF SUNDAY 28/6/2026

I once gave a man a job to make some windows. It was a big contract and his
job was to manufacture windows and install them in a large church building. As the project went on, I needed to meet with this contractor from time to time. The only time I could meet this contractor was on Sundays because, that was when I was in the church, and that was the best time for me to inspect the project.
Unfortunately, this contractor was very irritated about being called on Sundays or having to come to the church on a Sunday afternoon. I am sure you know the end of this story. The contract came to an end abruptly. That contractor was too “big” to work for me.

I have had many workers, masons, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and contractors who have worked for me for thirty years. All those who have successfully worked for me have adjusted and adapted themselves to my times
and seasons. I have even had workers who worked for me on Christmas day.
They considered it an honour to be asked to do anything for me at Christmas time. They considered it an honour to do something small for the one who had helped them to have a job every day for the past twenty-five years. They had never been without a contract for the last twenty-five years. The least you can do, when you want to honour someone, is to adapt yourself, adjust yourself and accommodate the person you honour.

I watched a documentary on a lady who had worked for a Prime Minister of England. She worked for him successfully for many years till he died. She described how he liked dictating notes when he was sitting on the toilet. Perhaps this lady had to adapt to this unusual style of taking down notes. She would obviously have to adapt to the smell or noises coming from the toilet and makeno disrespectful or embarrassing comment about it. It could be that his leadership ideas flourished most when he was on the toilet! Adapt yourself, adjust yourself and show real honour to the one you claim to respect!

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and HE SHAVED HIMSELF, AND CHANGED HIS RAIMENT, and came in unto Pharaoh
Genesis 41:9-14

When you work for someone you respect and honour, you will adjust yourself to be able to work with him. When Joseph was called upon by Pharaoh, he decided to improve his presentation and make himself look good. He shaved because not everyone likes bearded faces. He decided to change his old prison clothes so that his appearance would be pleasing to the king. Perhaps Joseph was used to certain types of clothes and a certain way of keeping his hair. His adjustment was a sign of the honour that he had for Pharaoh.

When you work for someone, it is important that you adjust yourself to the person. If you realise that the person you work for has certain preferences, your respect for the job and for the person will cause you to adapt. Just as Joseph shaved in honour of Pharaoh, a spouse who honours her husband may have to
shave certain parts if it pleases her husband.Pride will not allow you to adapt and adjust yourself to the person you must honour. When a person refuses to communicate because he called a number of times but got no answer, it is usually pride at work. The person that you honour will never be too difficult to make contact with.

If the person you work for does not use Facebook or WhatsApp as a way of communicating, you will adapt yourself and find the appropriate technology that will enable you to communicate with him. All that is a sign of your adaptation and your respect. If your mother or your father is unable to use WhatsApp, you cannot say that you cannot communicate with them any more. You, the child, have to adapt yourself to whatever technology the grown-up is comfortable with.

Canadian Pride parades have sunk to new lows: grown adults marching n**e or fully n**e right in front of families and small children. This isn’t “inclusion” it’s exposing kids to perversion in public. It’s not freedom, it is moral collapse.

The CHP condemns this growing depravity. We must protect our children and reclaim our nation’s moral foundation.
