Two prophets prophesied to me that this my wife is not my wife, and I believed them because they both gave me the same prophecy in different cities. One prophesied to me in a city called Jos, while the other one prophesied to me in Kano. Since they gave me the same message in two different locations, I believed that their prophecies confirmed each other.
So, I was going to propose to the lady whom the prophets had prophesied that I would marry. Meanwhile, I had not met my wife at that time. I was moving on the strength of the two prophecies, believing that they were enough confirmation for me to take that step.
I was already in transit when, midway through the journey, the unction of the Holy Ghost switched on, and I suddenly lost my peace. When I arrived at the city, I immediately boarded the next available vehicle and travelled back.
Eventually, I did not propose to the lady whom I had been prophesied to marry, simply because the spirit moved.
Let me advise you: The difference between life and death, many times, is the unction of the Holy Spirit.
Many people who have been caught up in accidents often say, “Something told me not to enter this vehicle.” That “something” they are talking about is what many times is the unction of the Holy Spirit, warning them of a danger they may not have been aware of.
I took another vehicle and left that city.
It was six months later that the Lord spoke my wife's name.
You may never have known me if I'd followed those two prophecies.
It was three years later that I discovered that whenever that lady got angry, she wouldn't eat for three days. They would have to place her food in front of her door so she could come out and carry it whenever she was ready to eat.
Is that not a separate ministry on its own? 😂
You would not have known me, if I had followed that path.
I would have been a depressed man, because I won't have been able to do ministry.
Everyday when I'm alone, I thank God that I did not make a mistake. I thank God for my wife, ALL THE TIME!

Some people are patiently waiting for God to shout from heaven before they'll know God is speaking to them. What they fail to understand is that God is a Spirit. Most times, God's speakings to man come cognitively. They come in signs, signals, promptings, inner witnesses, and the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit within our hearts. Sometimes, it is a loss of peace about a decision, an unusual restraint against taking a particular step, or a persistent inward impression directing us in a certain way.
The problem is that many people are waiting for an audible voice while ignoring the subtle ways God may be leading them.
