My Radical Healing

At this climax of the Lion’s Gate season I wanted to share what I read today 8/8 at 8pm on page 88 of “Healing Justice Lineages: Dreaming at the Crossroads of Liberation, Collective Care, and Safety” by Cara Page & Erica Woodland North Atlantic Books Please read this book, it’s sooo good and sooo important! They mention a collectively created definition of a liberatory practice of harm reduction, and the image above are some quotes with the intersectional/relational/harmonizing lemniscate symbol that transmutes that middle/liminal/3rd-space of EMPATHY.
I share this post as I’m reminded of a quote from Captain Gustave Mark Gilbert, the American military psychologist at the Nuremberg Trials of N**i leaders: “Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy.” It is important to observe and then figure out if we can (together) next steps in how we can individually & collectively embody empathy in a context where EVIL in all its subversive-overt-insidious-banal forms are growing like cancer that impacts us all.
How can empathy be a remedy that informs our thinking-feeling-willing soul forces, in all we do and in all our relations?
If there is anything that we can “call-in” or “manifest” may it be a wise & powerful EMPATHIC IMPULSE to support the healing of all aspects of LIFE in true FREEDOM & LIBERATION for ALL!
