Was the rivalry between you and Cristiano real or just media hype?

Lionel Messi: 🗣️🎙️"It's something natural in the world of football. I was at Barcelona and he was at Real Madrid, and we were competing for everything both collectively and individually, so people were always comparing us.

But our relationship was always good and respectful, and everything that happened was purely athletic. There was nothing personal.

We didn't meet often except at matches or award ceremonies, and we were always on good terms. Now we're at different stages in our lives, but what happened was a beautiful sporting rivalry."

If you started supporting football just recently, that means you've missed a lot from this 2 GOATS

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia: 🗣️🎙️ "When I was younger, a coach told me something I’ve never forgotten.

He said: 'Watch how Cristiano reacts after losing the ball.'
Most young players only focus on skills, but Ronaldo would immediately try to win the ball back, even after making a mistake.

That mentality shocked me; he hated losing even the smallest details of the match. After that, I started focusing on mentality more than highlight-reel plays. Cristiano made many young players understand that greatness isn't just talent—it’s an obsession."

CR7 is not just the Greatest of All Time but he has also inspired the very Greats 👌🏾

😢🗣️Asamoah Gyan🇬🇭: "They thr€atened my family, I was told not to enter Ghana again, my family were scared, angry fans were throwing things in our compound. It was horrible".💔
—Asamoah Gyan on missing penalty for Ghana vs Uruguay in 2010 FIFA World Cup

"Till today, any time alone, it still haunts me… sometimes I feel like the world should go back again so I can redeem myself."💔

"But I know this is something that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I accept that because there is nothing I can do about it. They thr€atened my family, I was told not to enter Ghana again, my family were scared, angry fans were throwing things in our compound. It was horrible and at some point I felt betrayed by my own people. They turned against me."😢

"I went there to save my country, but I ended up being the villain, which I accept because I know how people feel."

"It was a disaster. It was crazy. I couldn't sleep the whole night because I was crying the whole night until morning so I was somehow calm because I couldn't cry anymore."

No player deserves this treatment! He didn't miss it intentionally. In football sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Jay-Jay Okocha joining Bolton Wanderers from Paris Saint-Germain in 2002 is one of football’s great underdog transfer stories.

After starring for Nigeria at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Okocha was one of the most gifted free agents in Europe.

He had just finished four years at PSG, where he dazzled fans with flair, dribbling, and unforgettable skill. Bigger clubs were linked with him, and many expected him to stay among Europe’s elite.

But Bolton, managed by Sam Allardyce, had a different idea.

Big Sam Allardyce wanted to transform Bolton from a struggling Premier League side into a respected team. He believed bringing in one world-class star could change the club’s image and mentality. so he targeted Okocha.

At first, many people laughed at the idea. Why would a global star leave PSG and choose Bolton? But Allardyce was persistent. he personally sold Okocha the vision: become the face of a new project, play in the Premier League, and lead a hungry team.

Okocha listened, He liked the challenge, respected Allardyce’s ambition, and saw an opportunity to make history instead of being just another name at a giant club. In the summer of 2002, he signed for Bolton on a free transfer.

The move shocked football. What followed was legendary, Okocha became Bolton’s heartbeat. he brought joy, swagger, free kicks, tricks, leadership, and belief. fans adored him, singing his famous chant:

“JAY-JAY OKOCHA, I was so good they named him twice!”

He captained the club, helped them avoid relegation, and led them into Europe. Instead of Bolton being a stepping stone, he made them must-watch football.

What looked like a strange transfer became one of the smartest signings in Premier League history.

Jay Jay Okocha didn’t just join Bolton, he changed Bolton forever.

Casemiro: 🗣️🎙️“In my opinion, Michael Carrick completely deserves to stay as Manchester United coach”

“He’s a guy who has already demonstrated that he has very good qualities to be a Manchester United coach long term”.

“He deserves it, and he deserves the club’s total trust for a project at Manchester United”.

“The season is year-round but since he has arrived, he’s been doing an incredible job and I think that with more time he has everything to be a great manager of Manchester United”

Kylian Mbappe could have been on the verge of winning his second champions League this season if he stayed with PSG.

🚨 He left PSG for Real Madrid in 2024 to win the Champions League:

Last season:
Real Madrid were KNOCKED OUT in the quarter-finals
PSG won the Champions League for the first time in their history

This season:
Real Madrid were ONCE AGAIN KNOCKED OUT in the quarter-finals
PSG are in the final AGAIN

The French club have gone back-to-back finals since letting their 'best player' leave.

I believe he will soon start winning
