Rest in peace, Dad. đź’ś
Tragedies are simultaneously heart breaking and proof for why we live.
Exceptions that prove the rule.
The grief that we, Jude’s family and his small army of a chosen family feel together are receipts for the love we all had and will continue to have for him.
He’ll continue to live on in viscera of our bodies.
Through the involuntary laughter we’ll have thinking of his antics.
Through the tears we’ll shed thinking of wide range of memories we all have of him.
And through the many lessons he gave us without solicitation and at times, against our will.
Thank you for giving this world 62 years with Jude in it.
It’s somehow nowhere near enough and overly abundant at the same time.
Be free, Judey boy.
I love you.

Some of my favourite moments from 2024.
This year I travelled more than I have in my entire life. Potentially more than every year aside from this one combined.
I had never left North America before this year.
I’ve often said, where I am is less important than who I’m with.
This was a justification I used to evade travelling and leaving my comfort zone in the past.
But this year taught me a few things for sure.
One is that when you finally leave your comfort zone, it expands what you perceive as being possible in way you simply have to experience to understand.
Secondly, while I used to to think where I am is less important than who I’m with, this is something that I now know.
Of all the beautiful places I went this year, from seeing the tallest tree on earth, to seeing one of the most stunning temples in India completely covered in gold, the moments that live rent free in my head are with ones with my favourite people.
If you asked me what my favourite moment in India was, I’d say “jumping on our hotel bed in Bombay at 3 am screaming Blink 182 lyrics with .chahal1 & “
If you asked what my top memory from California was, I’d probably say “running a lap on Venice beach with following the lead of the one and only .clarke “
And if you asked which moments made me feel the most, it would easily be having the honour to witness my friends/fam .flytrapp and IG-less Megs make lifelong commitments to each other that I have no doubt will give them all the love they deserve for the rest to their lives.
So cheers to 2024 and everyone who made this such a special year for me. ❤️

This is my first-ever solo episode.
It's about my relationship with exercise from its inception.
How, even as a coach, I've struggled with a love/hate dynamic with the craft I've dedicated my career to.
From losing 60lbs at age 13, to battling binge-eating for years, to eventually finding a semblance of balance.
Cheers,
Coach Dylan
