We made it to the weekend, and what a beautiful weekend it’s supposed to be!

As promised, here is another renovation I completed in my front foyer. I originally started off with a bench....and that’s it. Yes that’s practical for a front foyer, but doesn’t do the space justice.

I decided to take two floating shelves and some decor I had around the house and threw it all onto the wall (with the help of my handyman fiancé of course). What do you think? ✨

Here’s a sneak peak at whats ahead! My Christmas tree decor!!

Thinking of a theme for my tree wasn’t the easiest - I was stuck between two. I also have two crazy cats - so shatterproof ornaments had to be added to the equation, which brought their own limitations. 🐱🐱

As you know, my style is organic - I like to let things fall and flow where they may. I tried to keep my tree that way as well - in the coming pictures you’ll see there are odds and ends sticking out in certain places around the tree. 🎄

When decorating, I encourage you to let your tree speak to your unique style. Don’t follow a “Do and Don’t” list - just DO whatever you want. It will work out!

Just like that, we’re heading into the holiday season! This is my absolute most favourite time of year! In my house, I always ‘deck the halls’ from top to bottom, leaving no corner behind. 🎄

Although it’s been a little different for us all this year, to say the least, I want my home to have the same feeling as it’s always had around the holidays. I think it’s really important to keep spirits high, and having a house that feels like a home will do the trick!🏡
