A conference designed to help young athletes understand the pathway forward.

02/25/2022

To say Johnny Misley is one of Canada's foremost architects of sport, maybe understating things.

As CEO of Ontario Soccer for the last seven years, Misley's been instrumental in leading 450,000 players and 70,000 coaches to have fun playing the beautiful game while also building high-performance pathways to play on the world's biggest stages.

Beyond Ontario Soccer, Misley has also held leadership positions with Canadian Tire Jumpstart, Own The Podium, Hockey Canada, and BC Hockey.

Join us alongside fellow athletes, parents, and coaches to learn from Johnny Misley and others about what it takes to succeed in sport and in life.

NextGEN/NextSTEP is a revolutionary new conference designed to help young high-performance athletes understand the pathway forward. The conference brings together a diverse mixture of world-class athletes, coaches, and experts who understand what it takes. Over a day-and-a-half, they will share their perspectives, gained through real-life experience, to help aspiring athletes plan their next steps.

Beyond insights, candid storytelling, and Q&A opportunities, each athlete will walk away with a personalized Athlete Action Plan to guide them through the next steps of their athletic journey.
