Single-leg squats are great—but adding a stability ball against the wall changes the challenge.

The ball provides just enough support to improve balance, allowing you to focus on:
✅ Keeping the pelvis level
✅ Preventing the knee from collapsing inward
✅ Building strength in the gluteus medius, which helps stabilise the hip during walking, running and single-leg movements

💡 Cue: Push through your whole foot, keep your knee tracking over your second toe, and think about pushing your hip into the wall slightly as you stand.

Remember: The gluteus medius isn't the only muscle responsible for knee or hip stability, but strengthening it can improve control and reduce excessive movement during single-leg tasks.

Save this exercise and add 2–3 sets of 8–12 reps per side to your lower-body workouts.

Mind you, 2000 steps and 500m above sea level 😅🤣

At least we got a good workout!

Im still clearing my camera roll...

📍Reinebringen, Lofoten

Fitness and building muscle is the cheat code.

Even if you take a break from training, all that work adds up and continues to pay off.

Im not currently training for anything specific, but Im certainly glad that 2000 steps up a steep mountain was doable so I didn't miss out on these incredible views.

Im afraid that if you're not currently working out, you could be missing out on some of the amazing things in life.

A must if you're ever in Norway ⭐️

gaard just got their first Michelin star and it was no surprise why.

Completely blown away by the fact that all the food & drink was either foraged, picked, cured, fermented in house or grown on the farm. Just impressive.

Also really appreciated the non alcoholic drink package. They were all so delicious and paired well with the food.

Next time we are staying for breakfast 🍽🥐🧈

All this training just to act brand new 🤣

Why is hiking such a struggle bus when we train legs and hit cardio as often as we do? Lol

All the heavy squats, lunges and step ups were worth it! 2000 steep steps to literal heaven

Squats, lunges and step ups paid off 💪🏾

Approx 2000 steep steps all the way to the top.

Even though there was a little fog, rain, and wind to tackle, still 100000% worth it.

If you're travelling to Norway, 10 out of 10 out of 10 recommend 🙌🏾

Think your neck is just "tight"? It might be your SCM (sternocleidomastoid). 👇

A shortened or overactive SCM can contribute to a forward head posture by pulling the head forward and altering normal neck mechanics. It can also become tender or stiff from prolonged desk work, stress, or repeatedly holding your head in one position. Keep in mind that forward head posture is usually influenced by multiple muscles and movement habits, not just the SCM.

How to stretch it correctly:

✅ Step 1: Sit or stand tall with your shoulders relaxed.
✅ Step 2: To stretch your right SCM, gently tilt your left ear toward your left shoulder.
✅ Step 3: Slowly turn your head to the right and lift your chin slightly until you feel a gentle stretch along the front/side of your neck.
✅ Step 4: Keep the stretch comfortable—never force it.
✅ Step 5: Hold for 20–30 seconds, breathe normally, and repeat 2–3 times per side.

⚠️ You should feel a gentle stretch—not pain, tingling, dizziness, or numbness. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop and seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

💡 Remember: Stretching is only one piece of the puzzle. Lasting improvements usually come from combining mobility work with strengthening exercises, posture awareness, and changing the positions you spend the most time in.

Norway wins 3-2 over England!

That's my prediction anyway.
