Great designs and fantastic times on sunny Saturday spring afternoon in Leslieville, Toronto

got in touch with me last year to collaborate, and I offered to send him a blank deck to paint on. Very cool guy who was interested in doing an original piece with his playful and unique style. I asked him to ship the completed version back to me so I could promote it at a couple of in-person events last year, write up a blog entry and offer it up for sale as a decorative wall piece on artondeck.com.

My goal has always been to help promote artists within the context of skateboarding - no exception here. We have the board up for sale at artondeck.com. ALL proceeds after costs deducted will go directly to .

Artist Statement: "This design, as most of my other pieces, came straight from my imagination. This one in particular was created while catching a train home one day. I wanted to incorporate some basic shapes, fun patterns and vibrant colors, while adding a few eyeballs and human-like features into the mix as well. I think a good skateboard graphic should catch the viewer's eye, and I hope this does just that. "

Added two new decks to the personal collection. REAL Bright Future, and Ed Templeton Disco Man Reissue.

The art on both of these models is incredible.
I have always loved .templeton designs, and this was one of my favorite models to ride in the 90s.

Not sure who did the art for the REAL board, but would love to know!

We had the amazing opportunity to be a part of Jackalope 2025 in Mississauga, Ontario. This multi-faceted action sports festival is a massive event with world class facilities and international skateboarding competitions.

The best part of being a vendor at Jackalope, is being together with a community of skateboarding enthusiasts who care more about spreading their love of skating to help the sport grow and gain wider acceptance, than turning a profit.

The outdoor skating season is short in most of Canada due to weather, but thanks to this community, skateboarding in Canada is more alive now than ever before.
